These Terms govern your use of bytecaretech.com and the computer services provided by ByteCare Tech. By using them, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
ByteCare Tech is an independent computer services business and an affiliate in the PC Matic PitCrew program. We are not PC Matic, Inc. and we don't act on its behalf. PC Matic software is sold, licensed and supported by PC Matic, Inc. under its own terms.
2. PC Matic purchases
Purchases of PC Matic are made on PC Matic's official website. PC Matic, Inc.'s terms of sale, license agreement and refund policy apply to those purchases. We may receive a commission from PC Matic, Inc. for purchases made through our links.
3. Our services
We provide computer support services such as installation, cleanup, tune-ups and setup. We describe the work and its price before starting. Services begin only after you agree. We can't guarantee that every problem can be fixed by software; if a problem is caused by hardware, we'll tell you.
4. Remote sessions
Remote sessions start only when you choose to start them. You can watch the session and end it at any time. You're responsible for backing up important files before any service. We take reasonable care, but we're not responsible for data loss that a current backup would have prevented.
5. Payment
Our service fees are paid to ByteCare Tech by credit or debit card or another method we confirm with you. We never accept gift cards, wire transfers or cryptocurrency.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use our services only on computers you own or are authorized to manage, and only for lawful purposes.
7. Trademarks
PC Matic is a trademark of PC Matic, Inc. and is used on this Site only to identify its products. All other content on the Site belongs to ByteCare Tech.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our Site and services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We make no warranties about PC Matic software, which is covered only by PC Matic, Inc.'s own terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid ByteCare Tech for the service in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which you received services. Before filing any claim, please contact us at support@bytecaretech.com so we can try to resolve it within 30 days.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version here.
